using WinHex 11.6 sr17 on a FAT32 6GB image recovering all existing from the root DIR including subfolders and sending to a short destination path (c:\tst\rcv\all-exist):

WinHex stopped 1.5GB with message such as 'path too long, trying to truncate (or shorten?)'

Would this message be referring to the source or destination?

The destination path will be about 15 characters longer than the source so I suspect WinHex is warning me about this and trying to do something about it (perhaps a source path must have been within 15 characters of the 255 limit)? How do I find out the results? None were listed when I opted to proceed.

The recovery continued without interuption to the end, apx 3.8GB of files

Could refer to both source or destination path. The result is hidden somewhere in the log. Will try to make all of that more obvious in the next version of WinHex.
