I am a new WinHex user and I have a question, I’m sorry if my question sounds kind dumb, but I’m going to ask it anyway. I have an 80GB HDD and I know that the total space used is only less than 40GB. My goal is to clone/copy those sectors which contains data to a 40GB HDD. Is WinHex capable of doing that? Note: Some of the sectors have unreadable/hidden data which is important to be included in the copy. If so how will I do it? Thank you. |

No, WinHex can only copy complete ranges of sectors. It ignores whether these sectors belong to clusters that are in use or not. |
