Is there any way to turn off error messages? I have a partial image where I am recovering the data from, and when it gets to a sector it cannot see, it adds a line to the error messages. this fills very fast and when it does, it slows the recovery down immensely. If I close the messages box, it clears the errors, but I need to clear it every minute or so to keep the recovery going. Is there some way to turn this off? |

There is an abandoned subthread about such problems in (Wishlist4) http://www.x-ways.net/winhex/forum/messages/838/2374.html?1250723831 ; add your vote there ;) |

Sorry for the previous answer being only implicit. Explicitly: there is currently no such feature, but requests for that have already been made. (This problem is also hard to go around, because if you set a tool to periodically click the close button [X] on the messages window, you could easily end up in forced-terminating the whole application process.) |

(You could by making the image complete, adding a .0xx segment of only zero value bytes, as many as needed.) |
