I've got a file on a CD which I can copy 83% of the file or the last 5 seconds without a problem, but then there is a CRC error which won't allow me to copy the rest of the file. The other files on the CD are copiable. I was wondering if it was possible to copy the file somehow, either by ignoring crc errors or by some other method. |

Please try copying the file with WinHex, i.e. Tools | Open Disk, right-click the file, Recover/Copy. When there are read errors and you chose to ignore them, the data in the affected sectors will be replaced with a substitute pattern. |
