I have tried to find it myself but I have failed.
I have many Word and Excel documents and I am looking for the way or any software which can be used to search for specific words inside above files.
As Word and Excel files are not a plain text files, typical Windows search function or any simple software can't be used.
Anybody has any idea please?

Thanx for any solution
Chris

I would recommend WinHex or X-Ways Forensics, of course, as this is the support forum for these software products.

Sure :-)
I have tried to find a way with WinHex but I couldn't do it.
Maybe the description: there is a folder with subfolders with many Word and Excel files. I'd like to find which ones have specific phrase or word and later to copy or move them somewhere.
Is it possible with WinHex?
Thanx for your answer

E.g. File | Open Folder, [x] Must contain specified text, [x] Include subfolders.

Much more powerful and convenient search functionality can be found in X-Ways Forensics.
