I last used WinHex in a dual-monitor setup and had dragged the template window to the 2nd monitor. Now, with just a single monitor when I select a template it is displayed off screen. Is this screen location stored in an editable location? ...or should I just try to hunt down a 2nd monitor to correct this? |

I always face this; common windows solution: 1) when the off-screen window is presumably focused, hit Alt+Space (this show the window's system menu) 2) choose Move (you might have to choose Restore first); the mouse cursor will be moved as close to the window's top-center as possible (you might want to move your mouse pointer back towards the middle of the screen) 3) hit a cursor key (i.e. left arrow) to move the window based on the current mouse cursor position (the window has to jump under the mouse cursor to accomplish this, so its caption will be at least partly on-screen) Btw. desktop-management and the like should not be a concern for applications, users should use dedicated software for these tasks (e.g. PowerPro is a tiny but very-very versatile tool addressing these tasks among many others). |
