Hi Guys,

Can anyone help with a problem that has been bugging me for years - I'm sure there is a simple answer but I am blowed if I can find it.

I am in the middle of stripping down the data in a particularly interesting registry key - in order to present the data to colleagues I used WinHEx to highlight/bookmark the areas of interest before I screensnapped it and dropped it into my report.

The problem is - every new bit of data that I drop into WinHex now inherits the same bookmarks. If I turn all of the bookmarks white it makes the data readable but then makes a horlicks of adding new bookmarks.

I have looked in vain for some functionality that allows me to clear all of the bookmarks but have failed.

Can anyone help me please??

Nigel

PS - I have searched the board to see if anyone else has posted about this - but it appears to be just me (which is what convinces me it must be a simple answer!!)

Positions in the general Position Manager are applied to all window. If you wish to keep positions/bookmarks for one particular file or disk, then you need to add that file or disk as an evidence object to a case.

Deleting all bookmarks/positions is very straight forward: You invoke the Position Manager, select all (e.g. Ctrl+A) and delete all (Del key or context menu).
