On August 12th, I updated my WinHex version to 11.0. Yesterday, I downloaded the all-language version again in order to recommend it to a friend. I noticed, however, that the current version is "11.0 SR 2", although the date next to the download link still reads 8/12. As I use WinHex daily and consider it as very important to always have the newest version, could you please also include the current service release in the download description or at least alter the date of uploading when providíng a new SR? |

Important SRs are listed in the "What's new" section on the WinHex download page (you can still see 10.9 SR-10 and SR-12). However, I will try to update the date from now on everytime a new SR is uploaded. BTW, it is WinHex 11.0 SR-4 already since Aug 29. Occasionally someone reports receiving a slightly outdated version, like you now, probably because it is stored on a proxy server? You could try replacing the domain name "winhex.com" with "x-ways.net" in the URL, then. |

I also have wanted this but I have been afraid to ask (I hate wasting your valuable time). In addition, though, it would be great to know what each new version or SR offers (i.e. what has been added, altered or fixed) so that we, daily users, can be sure our recent past WinHex results were not adversely affected by a feature prior to its update. Also, any change we know about will allow us to quickly help confirm its solidity on various hardware/OS configurations around the world. I do, frequently, re-read the help file looking for new info, but it is easy to miss short but important passages. A 'version update list' in the help file would be great, especially for for those of us who are daily downloading WinHex in an effort to always have the latest release. Thank you very much. |

> it would be great to know what each new version or SR offers Each new version, of course. I consider the newsletter extensive enough. Sorry, I do not wish anyone to download WinHex weekly (let alone daily). In my opinion, most minor improvements and typos fixed do not justify that, also no version history just for SRs. |

Thank you for now including the SR on the download page! As I have only a 56k Modem for my Laptop, it is really helpful to know exactly when a new version is available. |

I provided the SR number on the download page and the additional description in this case because of the important bug fix. |
