I just fell for it again. I do not use the 'Windows Manager' dialog box often enough to remember that the close button is not referring to closing the dialog box (which for some reason is what I always am thinking it will do, like the X button), so I end up closing the selected window instead, interrupting my work, of course. would it be possible to label that button 'close selection' to make it stand out, or something other than 'close'? Yes, would be possible. However, a simple keystroke (Alt+F, 1) would bring the window back in a fraction of a second, everything restored (window position and size, block, cursor position). |
