I was interested in getting the ram cheat editor. I have used winhex quite a bit, so I have a base knowledge on this stuff. I was curious if the ram cheat could be used in online games, if there is a reason that it can't be used in these games, can someone explain why not to me. Thank you

RAM cheat was meant to allow to change values in your own RAM, which of course does not affect the machines of your opponents. It is in principle not limited to any specific sort of games (not even to games, for that matter), but in online games there is likely to be some consistency checks.

Assume that you are changing your current health status, money or whatever is key in that game. It is likely that all the participants have a copy of their opponents' values. If now your health status increases dramatically, the game engines of your opponents might detect the change and therefore cause either game errors or simply warn your opponents of fraudulent behaviour on your part.

Of course, this is only what MIGHT happen. You never know until you try... ;-) And of course, many values are potentially only kept on your machine - those might be changeable without notice.

Is it possible(with the help of winhex)to adjust my tiger woods 2004 pc golf game to do the following?

1-Hit 400 to 500 yard drives
2-Make my meter slower, i play as a 3 click player, which means I click to start the meter, then i click to stop for how hard i want to hit it, then i must stop it again on the bottom for it to go straight....
3-Thanks for any help that i might recieve, being a below average player, i would hope someone might see this as a good reason to help

With the right addresses, you could make Tiger do the monkey! (heh...i'd like to see that...) All you need to do is just search over and over 'til u get the correct results. And don't forget to search everytime the item u want to change changes. I think the driving might be just how hard you hit, or how hard u hit with a certain club. The speed is a bit more challenging. You would somehow need to change how fast the speed bar moves at least one time, then do it again 'til it is the only thing left.

I've tried using it in a game called KalOnline. All it did was change the numeric value of my stats (Gold, Hit points.) Although they appeared changed the game behaviour did not acknowledge them. For instance my HP, would still fall even though I had the value on inject repeatedly. My gold although the number changed I could not spend that much at shops, they treated me as though i had the current values. Yet my Gold displayed 99,999 instead of 3,400.
