When i try to increase the number of bytes i get a
"Invalid input".
Is there a "Character mode" in this program?

Thnks. Great Program!

Sorry, more than 256 bytes per line are currently not supported.

If by a character mode you mean an ASCII-text-only mode, with no hexadecimal display, please try View | [x] Text Display Only.

Thank you for your answer.

Do you know if support to more than 256 bytes
is planned?

The other hex editors are not (by far)
as good as this one, but the 256 bytes are
a limitation.

I work with RPG data files and some are bigger.

Thanks anyway.

Sorry, not planned.

However, maybe the record display feature (View mode) can help as well. The status bar display for records will be improved in v12.2 SR-6.
