Both of this is normal and intended and not a bug. The shortcut key is not gone, it has been assigned to the Search in Index command instead.

'Search in Index'?, sorry, but where is that? If I remember correctly last time was ctrl+alt+F, but right now it's gone and even if I press these keys, it's not doing anything. Also right now 'find hex value' is not being assigned any shortcut keys. Would be glad if it's assigned one as it seem strage the whole stretch have shortcut but not this.

That's in the Search menu of the forensic edition of WinHex, referenced in the program help and user manual.

You could press the menu mnemonics if you wish to use the keyboard instead of the mouse. I don't think it's strange that not all menu commands have a keyboard shortcut.

I'm not sure if we understand each other, what I'm refering is in the pic.

Although I'm not asking for that to be enforced, but last time it was there and now not also the whole stretch except that have shortcut, that's why it's 'strange'.

I think I understood you very well. For the answer and explanation please see above. Feel free to suggest a new shortcut that is not yet taken if you like.

Someone else suggested a new shortcut for the Find Hex Values command, it will be Ctrl+Alt+X (as in heX) in v14.1 SR-1 and later.

Perhaps I'm not sure what you mean then, I apologize if I sounded too harsh. ;)

Nonetheless I'm glad that there'll be a new shortcut for this function. Looking forward to the new version. :-)
