I know it's still in testing. We upgraded to version 14.6 just so we can work with partitions greater than 2TBs. W-Ways Forensics recognizes the 4.8TB GPT, but I can't get past 1TB, sector 2147483647. WinHex v14.5 doesn't recognize GPT partition, but it can't get past 2TBs. I have check for suplus sectors enabled. Running Windows 2003 64-bit. What I'm trying to do is get at 1.4GBs worth of data from unallocated space beyond the 2TB limit. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
John

Also, how can I get access to Computer Forensic section when our license is registered to our Purchasing agent and not me? I have access to her just not her email.
Thanks again,
John

What exactly kept you from getting past 1 TB? An error message in Position | Go To Sector? Please try again now with v14.6 Preview 3.

> WinHex v14.5 doesn't recognize GPT partition,

v14.5 should correctly recognize GPT partitions within 2 TB from the start of the disk.

> but it can't get past 2TBs.

True.

> I have check for suplus sectors enabled.

Please disable that option for general considerations.

We can easily add your e-mail address to our database.

Thanks! Preview 3 did the job. I was previously using preview 2. With preview 2, I did not get any errors just couldn't get past 1 TB. If you went to the end of the physical drive, the last sector would be 2147483647. My email was added to the database.
