Howdy. Very simply I was using Hackman hex editor to change the names of the Tropicans in my Tropico game. I've done it before and was successful. This time I tried new things. I shouldn't have. I deleted and inserted bytes amongst the files which caused extra characters to appear, etc. So I went about "fixing" those characters and saved. Now my .exe file won't run because it's not a valid win32 .exe file. Should I re-install and start over or is there an easy way to make the file valid again? I shouldn't be more than a dozen or so characters off from the original if that means anything. Thanks |
