Is there a way to view a physical map of the files on the disk? Chkdsk has written chk files, and they appear to be written over segments of existing files. The damage would be easier to assess if I could see a map of the various files on the disk so that I could locate exactly where the chk files have overwritten other data. Thanks |

Hi. I'm a newbie to Winhex with the sole purpose of trying to delete a directory called C:\program files\kevbeting which does not show under windows explorer but is shown in Winhex. Diskeeper shows this as unfragmented and I keep getting a runtime error from this program. As a novice how do I delete the entires for this folder and it's sub-folders. Any help would be welcome. Thanks |

Depends on the file system (e.g. FAT or NTFS) and requires in-depth knowledge of that file system's data structures. |
