I just purchased X-ways forensics. I had been using Win-Hex. One of the first things I noticed is that the Deleted Objects folder is missing. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks

This folder does not exist any more for current versions of WinHex and X-Ways Forensics. If deleted objects are found which cannot be put into their originating directories, there will be a folder named "path unknown" now. Deleted files will be found within the directories they came from if possible, so they are now located in their original paths.

Note: The list of deleted files available may increase if you use the first two options available for snapshot refinement (particularly thorough file system structure search and file header signature search). Files found this way will also be included in their paths (structure search only!) if possible or in the "path unknown" folder otherwise.

Refining volume snapshots is available in the Specialist menu and by pressing F10.
