Can anyone tell me how to view a windows pagefile.sys
The OS is Windows XP.

You need administrator rights, open the drive with Tools | Open Disk, right-click the pagefile.sys and select Open.

I find that this doesn't work even when logged on as administrator. WinHex still calls trying to open pagefile.sys an error and tells me to check my permissions.

Perhaps because of Options | Security | [x] Open files through operating system. Please try to uncheck.
