Is the "Lost & Found" virtual directory created by WinHex 10.92? Does it reside as a file? Can it be cleared or reset?

That was a virtual directory used in very old WinHex versions, yes. It does not exist anywhere except in the display. It can neither be cleared nor reset. In order to remove traces of formerly existing files, use the "Initialize..." commands in Tools | Disk Tools
