If I have a text file which is a list of clusters as produced by Winhex or from some other source in the same format, (how) can I have Winhex view, search or copy those clusters (in order)? Is there some other use for the list-of-cluster files Winhex produces? Thanks. |

View: click a cluster number in the list directly in WinHex Search: search not via the cluster list, but in the respective file as listed in the directory browser Copy: right-click the cluster list directly in WinHex What you do with a text file with cluster numbers outside of WinHex is entirely up to your imagination. |

OK, but for "copy", I meant is there a way to have Winhex (or anything) copy the *data* from the list of clusters to a single file (much like how Winhex copies free-space clusters to a file). And I was wondering if Winhex can do anything with those text files (or does it just produce them for external use)? |

Yes, WinHex can copy the data in the cluster in the list window, as described above. No, the text files are rather for external use. |
