Hi, I have a file called for example "File1.txt" on my drive. I already located the file on MFT as well. But my question is how can I search in text mode for the file name, as in text appears as "F.i.l.e.1...t.x.t" ? Or is there any other way to find it? Thanks. |

To find text that is stored in Unicode (UTF-16), you would have to search in the Unicode (UTF-16) character set, of course. Actually I wonder why you ask such a question here. I don't mind answering very basic questions, but in your case you seem to work in a company that offers data recovery services, so you could get an answer and explanation much quicker from someone in your company. |

Thanks for the answer. Regarding your question, if I have technical support I like to use it, that's the point of it right? |

You can ask certain questions about our software here, yes. You do not automatically "have" or have purchased technical support. |
