Iīm working on an FAT12 image and in the Technical Details Report I have a "Volume Label Date". Where does it come from?
Can I find it in the Boot Sector?
I havenīt found any reference on this timestamp.

It is retrieved from the volume label directory entry in the root directory if there is one.

Tells this date anything about the date/time the floppy was formatted?

It's the date when the volume was formatted or when the volume label was changed after that, if it was changed.
