Hello, I received a CD created with Hebrew version of Win98 - all files name are Hebrew characters. My English Win98 cannot copy or open this files - I see those files with names like "____-____.mp3". When I tried to copy those files to disk, I am getting "file system error (1026)". I tried to use WinHex 9.9 SR-4 to find FAT or where file begin/ends, but the option "Disk tool - List file Clusters/List Directory Clusters" is blacked out. Any idea how to retrieve and rename those files? Thanks, Yossi |

"List File Clusters" cannot be applied to media formatted with the CDFS file system (like CD-ROMs), sorry. You could copy the files off the CD sector-wise if you manage to find the starting and end sectors of the files manually, e.g. by searching for known file contents, file header signatures, etc. |
