Hello,

I received a CD created with Hebrew version of Win98 - all files name are Hebrew characters. My English Win98 cannot copy or open this files - I see those files with names like "____-____.mp3". When I tried to copy those files to disk, I am getting "file system error (1026)".
I tried to use WinHex 9.9 SR-4 to find FAT or where file begin/ends, but the option "Disk tool - List file Clusters/List Directory Clusters" is blacked out.
Any idea how to retrieve and rename those files?

Thanks,

Yossi

"List File Clusters" cannot be applied to media formatted with the CDFS file system (like CD-ROMs), sorry. You could copy the files off the CD sector-wise if you manage to find the starting and end sectors of the files manually, e.g. by searching for known file contents, file header signatures, etc.
