About the 'wipe securely' option

Does it remove MFT entries about the filenames, timestamps etc of the files deleted.(what data residue does it leave)

Last point, is it possible use wipe securely to delete whole folders as well as individual files. At the moment I have to select each database or spreadsheet I delete, one at a time with the 'wipe securely' options, very slow.

The filenames, yes. For everything else: Tools | Disk Tools | Initialize MFT Records.

You can select individual files or all files in a folder.
