Using the "Make backup copy", is it possible to save the file as an iso. I need to burn the image to a disk after winHex makes the image. Is there any other output options.

Thanks

No, it isn't. BTW, "Make Backup Copy" doesn't create a disk image. Only when a disk is open and represented in the active data window, the command is named "Create Disk Image".

For disks, WinHex/X-Ways Forensics can create a raw image (.dd) or an .e01 evidence file.
