Can I mount a raid image created in winhex. If I have two drives and create them as raid 0, is there a way to mount it in winhex so that windows or other programs can have access to the image. I know that I can clone it to another drive, but if this can be done, it will save me valuable time. Thanks in advance. -dave |

Thanks for the link, Bill. But I am looking for a way to mount a logical device without going through the imaging process. For example, creating a raid array then mounting a physical device so that I can and test logical structure with other data recovery software. ..... Stephan- is there any chance of incorporating this into the next revision? =) |

I see, when you said "image" in your original post, you were not referring to an actual image file, but merely to the virtual assembly that can be created ad-hoc in X-Ways Forensics with the "Assemble RAID System" command. Sorry, mounting the same is not a feature that would be quick to implement. |
