Hi,

I have a 60 Gb drive with only 20 Gb of data in 1 partition.
I need to clone this drive into a bigger one, a 500 Gb drive. Is it possible to clone the 60 Gb partition into a 500 Gb partition?

Thanks.

Sure, if the number of sectors on the destination is not smaller than the number of sectors on the source, you can copy sectors from anywhere to anywhere else. Merely copying sectors from A to B, however, of course does not somehow magically re-adjust the file system that may or may not be contained in the partition to a larger partition size.

Hello!

Try the Ultimate Boot CD. There are some freeware cloning tools on it (p.e. HDClone).

Ok.
Got the point.
I'll try it out.
