I have winhex installed in my laptop. I must make an image from another Pc, but I can't extract the hard disk and I can't shut down this. I have 2 ideas to do this: 1- Put my laptop in red and from here make the image from the hard disk. 2- Put my laptop in red with the pc using a crossover cable Are these possible ideas? If not, which is the best form to obtain this image? Thanks. Patricia |

Hello! You can connect the two pc with a crossover cable (PC <-> Notebook). Create a network share ("Map Network Drive") on the PC (p.e. "z:"). Put winhex into the shared folder (on your Notebook) and start it on the connected PC (from "z:"). Open the disk on the PC and save the image over the network share. Sorry for my poor english. |
