Product Training Specialist
Your tasks:
-
You serve as an instructor for product-related training, usually online or in future perhaps in person again.
-
You keep our training course manuals up to date.
You advise our customers on correct usage of our computer forensics software and render technical support via e-mail.

You assist in further development of our software, for example by testing or research.
Where and when:
Your home office, preferably in Europe.

Flexible working hours, subject to negotiation, part time or full time (reduced number of days per month).
Requirements:

Profound technical knowledge in fields such as operating systems (Windows, Linux, and/or macOS), file system internals, file formats, and/or computer forensics in general.

Existing knowledge of our X-Ways Forensics software would be very desirable. Ideally you have passed our X-PERT exam.

Ability to teach courses that are engaging and motivating. Good communication skills in general.

Very good command of English.

You find a wide area of responsibility in a small team appealing, you are reliable, and you might be willing to travel in the unforeseeable future.

Programming skills not required, but a plus, of course.
Training Contractor
Your tasks:

Running occasional X-Ways training courses on an individually agreed schedule.
Where and when:
Your home office. Potentially on-site. Europe or North America.

We agree each course with you individually to fit your schedule as well as ours.
Requirements:

You are working with X-Ways Forensics on a day-to-day basis, and would like to share your working knowledge of our product with a varied audience from both the public and private sectors.

We require all X-Ways training instructors to have passed the X-PERT exam. Ideally therefore, you already have.

You are either self-employed in the field of computer forensics or are working in an environment where contracting with vendors as an occasional training instructor is acceptable.

Ability to teach courses that are engaging and motivating. Good communication skills in general.

Very good command of English.
Software Developer
Your tasks:
Further development of existing computer forensics software. This involves research (like reverse engineering), design, implementation, testing.

User support and communication with IT specialists in businesses, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies all over the world to identify potentials for improvement.
Where and when:
Your home office.

Flexible working hours, subject to negotiation, part time or full time.
Requirements/Profile:

Advanced programming knowledge in Pascal/Delphi and/or Visual C++ and ideally in the Windows API.

Profound knowledge of some of the following topics: computer forensics, bits & bytes, file system data structures, file formats, operating system internals (Windows, Linux, and/or macOS), networks.

Fluent in English.

Reliable.
